Two ships, a handful of planets, and one rule of space: nothing flies straight. Every planet pulls on your missile, so
you curve your shots around them, or swing past them, to hit the other ship.
Winning
One hit destroys a ship and wins the round.
Win most of the rounds to take the match.
Every round is a new battlefield, and whoever lost the last round shoots first.
If nobody is hit before the turns run out, the round is a draw: no points, new battlefield.
Aiming and firing
Touch
Swipe toward your opponent for more power, away for less.
Swipe the other way to change the angle: the aim tilts the way your finger moves.
On a phone held upright the battlefield is turned, so your opponent is above or below you: swipe up or down for power, and sideways for the angle.
Swipe slowly for small changes, a degree or a percent at a time. Flick quickly for big ones.
Each swipe sticks to one direction, so changing the power won't nudge the angle.
Every turn starts from your last shot, so you only need to adjust what missed.
Tap FIRE, or tap your own ship, to shoot. Swiping never fires.
Keyboard
←→ turn your ship, ↑↓ change the power. Tap for a fine step; hold to speed up.
Space or Enter fires.
Mouse
You can aim with the mouse instead. Press anywhere and drag, like a slingshot: pull back, and your ship fires the opposite way. Pull further for more power.
Let go to fire. A click without dragging fires your current aim.
Changed your mind? Drag back to where you started before letting go, and the shot is cancelled.
Each drag starts from your last shot, and slow drags make small changes, so you can fine-tune.
Reading your shot
The dotted line shows where your shot starts out, then fades away; the rest is up to you. The dots spread out as you add power.
The numbers by your ship show your angle and power, and how they differ from your last shot.
Your earlier shots stay on the battlefield as faint trails, so you can see what to change.
If your missile leaves the screen, an arrow at the edge shows where it is. Gravity may bring it back.
Turns
The bar in your corner is your shot clock. If it runs out, you lose that turn.
The circles at the bottom count the turns left before a draw.
The dots next to each name are rounds won.
Careful: your own missile can hit you.
Tips
Planets pull harder the closer you pass, and big planets pull hardest. Skim one to bend your shot sharply.
There is always a planet between you and the other ship, so there is never a straight shot. Go around: a shot flung out wide can swing back in.
Make small changes between shots, and watch your old trails to see which way to adjust.
